Elephants are amazing animals that scientists have found to be self-conscious and experiencing various feelings and emotions similar to those of humans.
Elephants have an excellent memory. They recognise their relatives and brethren even after a very long separation. They are also vindictive, and can take revenge for wrongs done to them, even decades later. However, they remember their patrons just as well, and will never forget their kindness.
Today, there are only 3 species of these unique animals left on our planet, out of the 40 that once thrived.
